Have you done any band mixing with Cubase?
Every other program I've used with my system has had latency issues. Ableton probably ran best.
ProTools is really good on the latency issue. It's practically zero latency at 64samples.
Last nights stream was sweet. Had like 7 ppl in the chat.
what is the latency test
for me it depends on how many and what fx I add. is usally a ton so I do have issues. remember i get 8 per track + 8 bus
...I'll do a dry test with my M-audio 8 input...my ol presonus use too work.
16 tracks with 3 plugins on each and about 5 buses.
I guess you'd need my hardware to really test it. I'm just kinda curious to see what kind of options Cubase has as far as routing and midi control.

Darn it. Just figured out how to render for BluRay and its 2 separate files like DVD.
Holy crap dude. Gonna be doing these HD archives from now on and they take fricken forever. Let me know if you need the format. Works great for BluRay without recompressing.
Basically an MPG-2. Use the Bluray default but I switch a couple things. At this point just saving wav at cd quality is working in Architech to without recompression
I do variable at highest-18mbps average-16mbps minimum-8mbps. Looks totally awesome. There's a big difference if you go blow 10mbps I think.
I'm gonna re-render that DEDGC at BluRay format and fix the audio a bit.

I got 6 gig of triple channel memory. This computer is blazing dude. I don't know why Vegas sucks so bad. That updated version didn't even let me render a 2 second .wav file. They really jacked it up. I uninstalled it and installed the old version and its working pretty good again. Still using 9 for most projects though.
Damn dude. Gonna have to stick with the .WMV for now with the Pro Audio format.

Well, the Pro option in WMV is even higher quality unless I'm tripping.
On this show coming up please try not to have backdrops with super fast moving/flashy colors. I'm trying a higher quality stream.

This Presonus is by far the nicest DAW I've messed with so far.
Dude please try and hook up with me earlier before the show next time or like the night before. It was really hard on me when levels and streams weren't setup before hand. The show and the host suffers.
We need to do some serious testing on the conference. The drop outs are really getting to me.
